On November 18th, SJTU’s Bulgarian Center and the School of International and Public Affairs co-hosted 2020 “China-Central and Eastern Europe” International Scientific Forum. The event is co-sponsored by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Bulgaria. This forum took place both virtually and in-person on SJTU’s Xuhui campus, in the Xinjian Building.

On July 5, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and his delegation made a visit to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The president, with the delegation, went to the Bulgaria Center and also gave an exuberant speech in the university.

The 2 two-year international master's degree programs (Major: Politics, Research area: China’s Politics and Economy) started from 2012, are geared towards students seeking to enrich their understanding of contemporary China.

Master of China's Public Policy (MCPP) is a global academic program that is offered by School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) to fresh university graduates and experienced professional. The course mainly focuses on the principles of public administration, public policy management and its implementation. The course is taught by experienced professionals. The learning takes place under an instructional framework, where theory is paired with seminars, contemporary case studies and discussion sessions.
